March is an eventful month. It’s Women’s History Month as well as the beginning of spring and the NCAA tournament. And the soundtrack the culture continues to choose to celebrate this time of year is the 2015 classic “March Madness” by Future. Born Nayvadius DeMun Cash, Future is an Atlanta native and trap music legend. He initially entered the industry as a part of the Dungeon Family collective, dropping a series of mixtapes. According to his website, the Future mixtape era led him to sign his first major record deal with Epic Records. In 2012, he released his official debut album “Pluto,” which featured hits like “Tony Montana” and “Same D*mn Time.” Future would continue to release a series of successful studio and collaborative albums with artists such as Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, and Juice WRLD. The 39-year-old’s music career has earned him several nominations and awards, including two Grammys trophies. Although the rapper has advocated for his hard work, he credits his long-time...
They say everything is bigger in Texas, and for the Houston Hottie Megan Thee Stallion, she’s bossing up and letting the world know that phrase applies to her pockets. The Texas Southern University graduate recently released her latest album, “Traumazine,” and reportedly dropped a smooth $250,000 for a feature from Future to make one of the songs come to life the way she envisioned it. In April, Future dropped his ninth studio album — “I NEVER LIKED YOU.” As the focus of several memes and conversations, the Atlanta-based rapper had the attention of fans and opposers alike. And, Future may have plans to take it up a notch by giving people something more to look forward to. Nayvadius Wilburn has documented plans to enter the fragrance industry with Sinsational by Future. What seems to be a play on the words “sin” and “sensational,” Future appears to be staying on-brand with his lyrical content as a trademark filing suggests a launch of his own fragrance.
Apparently, obtaining multi-millionaire status isn’t enough for Future. Recently, the unofficial king of March Madness made it plain and clear that his current goal is to be Hip-Hop’s next billionaire. In the May 2022 issue of GQ, Future took on questions, and one included what’s to come? And, the resounding answer was “billions.”
It looks like this lucky non-fungible token (NFT) buyer may have scored big time. According to BBC News, the Bored Ape Yacht Club limited NFT sold for a little more than $3,000, about one-hundredth of its normal market price. The owner of the Bored Ape number 3,547 made quite the mistake after listing the item for sale online at such a low cost.
If you visit the Twitter profile page of Hip-Hop rapper Future, you’ll be in for a surprise as the current image has been replaced with a non-fungible token (NFT) of a yawning gray-fur ape sporting a captain’s cap and a red robe. For those wondering about the image displayed on his avi, Future is solidifying his allegiance to the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT by purchasing BAYC #4672 for 49 ETH ($200,000).
This famous Haiti native is working to give back to his country after a devastating loss. Rapper Jackboy, born Pierre Delince, continues to give back to his home of Haiti following a deadly earthquake that hit the country last month. Despite the fact that the emcee moved to the U.S. at the age of six, he’s been known for using his success to reach back and help his birth country. On Aug. 14 approximately 2,200 people were killed during the 7.2 magnitude earthquake and over 12,000 people were injured, the U.S. Embassy revealed. While aid is slowly but surely reaching those who need it, there are still several parts of the country that aren’t able to get the assistance that they need due to their remote nature. With this in mind, Jackboy wants to help as many people as possible get the help that they need. According to Complex, during a recent visit back home, he donated $100,000 to Haiti but knew he had to do more when he witnessed firsthand the extent of the conditions. View this...
