Julia Peterson

Julia Peterson was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, for 15 years before moving to the United States and residing in Massachusetts. Adopted at a young age by missionaries, she has always known the goodness of others. As a young kid, she has always had a passion for writing about music, poems, short stories, and journaling. She went to Holyoke Community College for her Associate in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor in Communications and Public Relations at Southern New Hampshire University. Since finishing school, she has worked in a variety of different mediums, from editorial to digital, audio podcasts, public relations, and events. She currently works as a freelance writer for the Hollywood Times, Exhibit A, MXDWN, Blavity as well as freelance for other companies. She is also doing PR for Fashion Week Brooklyn a non-profit organization by the BK Style Foundation. She has been screenwriting and currently working on her first-ever comedy feature.
